kernel >= 2.6.24 would give you this error . You need zaptel >=
1.2.<don't-recall-exactly> . Get the latest, anyway :-)

Or just get
http://updates.xorcom.com/astribank/bristuff/1.4/bristuff-0.4.0-RC4-xr5.tar.gz

Hmm... yeah, I forgot to mention that one:

0.4.0-RC4-xr5
    - Let's not segfault if we have a non-digital span.
    - zaptel patch fix_uninstall_dahdi: Nuke other zaptel modules as 
      intended.
